About me

I am a Senior Clinical Psychologist and offer therapy to adolescents and adults in South West London or over Skype.

I use a number of different Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches to help patients deal with a range of psychological difficulties and recognised disorders, such as depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and many more.

I offer individually tailed treatments using:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • Schema Focussed Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
  • Dialectal Behavioural Therapy
  • Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing

Experience

I have been practicing in the NHS since 2002. I have a vast range of training and experience in a number of different types of therapy including EMDR for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  I have experience working with individuals, adults, families, older adults, children and adolescents, people with learning disabilities and people with traumatic brain injury within a wide range of NHS health care and private care sector settings. I have a special interest in perinatal mental health and also work in a specialist perinatal mental health service within the NHS.

I wrote my doctoral thesis on the effect of mindfulness-based intervention on improving attention deficits in people with neurological difficulties.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Hertfordshire University
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Chartered Member of the BPS

Fees

Individual therapy: £110 a session

Self-Funding Your Treatment – Payment for sessions can be made by cash or by an electronic transfer (BACS payment via online or telephone banking). Details of this will be provided at the time of booking your first session.

It may be possible to use your private health insurance to cover the cost or part of the cost of your appointments.
