Kei Lawford
Humanistic Counsellor
I am available for Face to Face or Online Sessions
Name – Kei (“kay) Lawford
Gender – Female (she/her)
My name is Kei and I am a qualified and registered Gestalt counsellor with Japanese-English heritage.
I work with individual adult clients out of my private practice in Fulham where I hold both in-person and online sessions.
My aim is to provide a space where you can explore all aspects of your identity and give voice to what you are experiencing with a focus on being inclusive, collaborative and trauma-informed.
I believe that my role is to support you in developing a deeper awareness of yourself, how you relate to others, navigate situations, and respond to life’s challenges. As self exploration can bring up unexpected feelings, I’m here to support you in that process.
I take a person-centred and holistic approach that builds upon my training as a Gestalt therapist while also incorporating techniques from other modalities such as Internal Family Systems and Transactional Analysis.
Specialties – Depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidality, low selfesteem, cultural identity, ADHD/ADD, spirituality/faith, LGBTQ+, dementia, loss/bereavement, family relationships
Alongside my private practice I work in elderly care and provide volunteer counselling through a low-cost mental health service in South London.
Qualifications – Level 5 Diploma in Counselling, Certificate in Humanistic Counselling
Accredited Membership – Registered member of the BACP
Fees – £70 per session for individual adults (18+) only
