Gestalt Psychotherapy
“As a therapist, I am a companion.
I try to help people tune into their own wisdom.”
Virginia Satir
As a Gestalt therapist, I offer a calm and compassionate space where you can begin to reconnect with yourself, to explore what’s happening in the here and now, and to make sense of your experiences with gentleness and curiosity. My work is rooted in presence, empathy, and deep respect for your story.
I believe healing begins in relationship, in being seen, heard, and met with genuine care. Together, we will explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns as they arise in the here and now, helping you develop awareness and a stronger sense of connection to yourself and others.
My multicultural background allows me to bring openness, curiosity, and compassion to my work. It helps me connect with, and support people from a wide range of cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds, honouring each person’s unique story and worldview.
Alongside my general practice, I also offer therapy to refugees and individuals who have experienced displacement, exile and loss. My approach is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, grounded in creating safety, trust and choice. At the heart of my practice is a belief in your capacity to heal and grow, even after the most challenging experiences.
I work with different issues including: Anxiety, Borderline processes, Depression, Domestic abuse, Race and Identity issues, Relationship issues, Low self-esteem, Bereavement and loss, Emotional abuse, PTSD, Sexual abuse, Self-harm, Stress and Trauma.
Training, qualifications & experience:
I am a UKCP accredited Gestalt psychotherapist. I hold a Clinical Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute and an MSc in Gestalt Psychotherapy from Middlesex University.
Gestalt psychotherapy is a humanistic, person-centred, and holistic therapeutic approach that borrows from psychoanalysis, gestalt psychology, existential philosophy, zen Buddhism and Taoism. In Gestalt therapy, the goal is greater awareness, including your awareness of yourself, your choices, responsibility, and your environment.
I work with individuals and couples on an open-ended basis.
I work in English, French, and Arabic (Lebanese dialect).
I am a UKAGP member and a registered member of UKCP.
I adhere to the UKCP code of ethics.
My fee is £70 for individual therapy, for a 50-minute session.
For couples therapy, my fee is £100 per couple, for a 75-minute session.
