    About Me and Experience:

I have worked as a psychodynamic psychotherapist for the past 15 years. Psychodynamic means that our work will look at unconscious processes and repeated patterns as they manifest themselves in your current life. Therapy will facilitate self-awareness and provide containment.

I see adults and young adults in private practice and also have worked with students within the counselling Service at St Georges’s University of London. I gained greater understanding of issues specific to young adults through my training at the Tavistock and Portman Trust and training at the Society of Analytical Psychology.

I also gained some training in the Therapeutic use of Mindfulness which can alleviate the symptoms of anxiety and depression. This approach has proved to be beneficial to tackle panic attacks and severe anxiety states in adults and young adults.

    Specialisms:

Anxiety, depression, relational issues, eating disorders

    Family issues, conflicts and crisis.

Low self-esteem and lack of confidence.

Grief and loss, including divorce, ending of relationships.
